Payments via Coinbase Commerce orders have to be confirmed on the blockchain before the order gets completed.
Paying Via Crypto on Other Exchange Networks
If you do not want to pay via Coinbase Commerce, you are welcome to use other exchange networks, such as Binance or Kraken.
First, begin by clicking on the Proceed to Coinbase button on the checkout page:
Then, select which cryptocurrency you wish you pay in (see screenshot below). We currently only accept payments in Bitcoin, Ethereum, USD Coin, Litecoin, and Tether.
This will bring you to a page with a QR code to scan with a crypto address to send the payment to. The screen should look something like the screenshot below, though the details will be different and you will see your selected cryptocurrency. Note: the screenshot above is an example. Your screen will have different details.
Next, open the crypto exchange app you would like to make the payment through. For instance, if you want to pay via Binance, open your Binance app. Then click on the Wallet icon in Binance where you will see all of your available crypto in their respective cryptocurrencies.
Steps to Note Before Purchase
You will need to ensure you have enough funds (keep in mind any additional fees that may be processed) available in the desired cryptocurrency you wish to make payment. For instance, if you are paying in Bitcoin, be sure you have enough Bitcoin in your account. If you do not have enough in your account to cover the cost of the challenge you are purchasing, you will need to deposit more into your crypto wallet.
In the screenshot above, it shows the cost of the challenge in Bitcoin (BTC). You will also see the total amount in your desired cryptocurrency on your screen so you know how much you need minimum in your account to make the payment.
Once you have enough deposited into your account to pay for the challenge, select the cryptocurrency you wish to make payment through in your app (in this example, Binance). Then, select withdrawal to send crypto to R21 for your purchase.
Scan the QR code or enter the crypto wallet address on the R21 checkout page to ensure the crypto you send goes to the correct R21 wallet. Also, enter the correct amount to be paid in the cryptocurrency you are sending. Finally, send the funds.
Once the crypto has been received in R21's crypto wallet, you will receive an email confirmation along with your account credentials. A pop-up will also appear on the screen confirming the payment has been received.
If you experience any issues, please contact our support team via Live Chat.
ERC-20 Network Restrictions
We only accept ETH, USDC, and DAI on the ERC-20 network. If you send those cryptocurrencies on any other network besides ERC-20, we will not receive your payment and will not be in any position to provide technical support for you to receive your payment back.
Please see the following Coinbase Commerce help article for more information about unsupported cryptocurrency recovery.
Make sure you have reviewed the rules of the challenge before starting it. If you have any doubts regarding the rules feel free to contact our live support for clarification.
Please note that all funded accounts are subject to a KYC/AML screening prior to being issued. Be sure that you are able to provide a valid form of ID and proof of address issued within the last 90 days to avoid any delays in receiving your funded account in the event that you are successful in completing the evaluation phase.
