Updating Investor Passwords During Challenges: What You Need to Know

Any user that change their master or investor passwords at any time during the challenge will automatically forfeit the challenge and are not eligible to continue trading. This policy is part of our commitment to fairness and ensuring that all participants in the challenge have a level playing field. When reviewing accounts for the challenge, it is important that they meet all eligibility requirements.

What Happens with Changed Passwords?

Unfortunately, if a user changes their investor password during the challenge, it is not possible for us to review the account in the challenge or verify that the strategies involved are legitimate. Our policy on passwords is to make sure that any account participating in the challenge does not have any changes made to it during this time to ensure a level playing field.

Example of Breach of Password Rules

One example of a breach of this rule is when a user connects their account to services such as MyFXBook, which requires users to change their investor password. For users who use this service, it is important to note that this will unfortunately make them ineligible to participate in the challenge.
